Update, May2013. I've now done about 370 miles since the rebuild (no, it didn't get used over the winter)and am very much enjoying the improvements. A couple more changes have been made including a Brooks B17 and bar ends for those long rides I hope to do this summer.
Another update, December 2013: Approx 1350 miles since the rebuild now, which included my first ever metric and imperial century rides.:wahhey: I replaced the 42 tooth big ring with a 44 tooth back in August and very much prefer this setup. The steps between gears just feel right now. My average speed after the change showed a small but consistent improvement too.:thumbsup:
