It's not wierd for a touring bike...

and the Genisis because it is steel, a bit retro and will be a lovely ride and different from everyone else on there bling carbon bikes. It will mark you out as a serious rider though!

That's a nice looking bike and likely to outlast the OP compared to the cracking of the Ridgeback.
