Just heard on the news that Wynn Rooney just signed a deal for £300 000 a week !! What a mad world we live in. How the f***k that man deserves that sort of money? I hope his club goes bust. If only the fans could see the enormity of this and stopped going to matches, it might restore a bit of sanity to what was once a working man's game. It certainly is not now. I am sick of
hearing of all these useless people earning obscene amount of money.

It is an obscene amount of money, no objection here.
But the blame really lies with the 75,000 muppets who turn up at Old Trafford every other week, pay a fiver for a programme, probably another fiver for a stale, barely edible burger and all wearing £70 shirts to boot.
While they keep getting bums on seats, Rooney and the like will get richer.

Stopped watching the premiership years ago because of this crap. It looks like they are going to fail to qualify for the champions league next season unless they win it So possibly next season they will not be able to buy success like they have been doing for quite a while now. Decent players not just after the cash will possibly go elsewhere. They'll still have Shrek though I guess.
