Does anybody know anything about this phone number? I keep getting calls from it when I'm out, it doesn't appear on any of the phone spam websites. It doesn't even seem like a UK number so I'm not returning the call.

Yebbut; you've got to stay on the line for 30 minutes while they go through all the details. Calls cost £2000 per minute from landlines (mobile networks may charge you considerably more) and the prize is Matthew_T's thrashed Fiat Cinquecento!

All these have an international dialling code in front of them, would it show up when I did 1471?

Caller ID can be spoofed to show any number, ignore it or get a phone (or add-on like Truecall) that rejects this sort of stuff.
