Is it possible that you are sending out the wrong signal? Something to make them go steaming in like that?

I don't wish to take sides in this discussion, but thought hackbike came out with a wonderful response here.

Why the bloody hell do you want stats when I have actually told you in my unbiased opinion of what I see on the roads week in week out?

We should have an archive in CycleChat to frame classic responses for all to see.;):biggrin:

Nigel Havers mania...At Mile End Junction yesterday a cyclist with a trailer actually jumped the lights just as the lights for the other traffic was changing.

I passed him 200 yards up the road.

What is the f'ing point?

I think this is a London problem where too many people are fighting over too little space. In the rest of Britain we all get along largely hassle free.
In the capital there is an irresponsible brigade of bike riders who need bringing to heel and sending to a bootcamp to bring their cycling standards up.

There is a damn sight more than you think pal I was thinking today it must be at leat 75% of cyclists.Virtually every cyclist I come across now RLJ's.This week I have seen two bikes towing trailers jump reds, one being at Mile End just as the lights changed for the opposite traffic.I see endless up pavements lark.Even been out this morning more RLJers and generally at night cyclists without lights or bright clothing.

I saw one of those chariot thngs near Waterloo jump the lights last night.
More than one of those bike chariots with working back lights and very dim front lights.

I think it's just getting worse.

It's not a problem with space it's a problem with road discipline.
