I have a set of Campag Khamsin Wheels with what ever hub came with them.
I also have 2 10 speed cassettes, each with a different pattern to slide on. Both of them seem to be too small! the diameter of the freehub body seems bigger than the hole in the middle of the cassettes.

Do i have to start again?

Daft question - is the freehub Campag and the cassettes Shimano fittings?

That might explain it ...

No, I don't think so. one of the cassettes is Campag, the other i don't know. The wheel is camapg with no details on the hub

probably the answer. That was my first thought.

you also need a spacer once you get a hub to cassette match

If you have got the Shimano freehub you could get a Campag one, the wheels will take either. It is just the freehub body you would need to swap over. Just make sure the freehub body fits that type of wheel.

might be just as cheap to buy the right cassette?

For 10 speed the cassette needs to match the shifters though, I think 11 speed you can use Shimano shifters and Campy cassette but not on 10 speed.

Ah, just stuck an old 8 speed Shimano cassette on, slipped on just fine!

Hmm, anyone have a 10 speed Shimano cassette the want to swap for 1 or 2 campag ones?

Trouble with 'swapping' cassettes is that neither party knows how much wear the cassette they're receiving has already had (ie in hundreds or thousands of miles) and one can't tell by looking at them, unless they're BNIB.
Btw, @urbanfatboy , why do you not abbreviate Shimano to Shiman? Or is it a syllable thing?
