Wonder if anyone can help me out?
It's 10 weeks until I do a 100 mile ride and I haven't started doing any long distance rides yet due to just recovering from a tonsillectomy.
Has anyone got a training plan I could follow. Or simply advice on how many times a week I should be riding and for how long? (That I can fit into an already busy schedule)
I currently do 14 miles a day 6 or 7 days a week as a commute. Wednesday I went out for an extra 45mins and tomorrow I'm going to do 2-2.5 hours (I prefer to train in time rather than distance - that's probably wrong)
Anyway any advice, I was thinking an extra hour one day, an extra 2 hours another day (possibly on my mtb) and then a long ride one day a week building up from 2-6 hours.
