100 Miler

HI PEOPLE I HAVE JUST JOINED, I HAVE BEEN CYCLING FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS NOW I HAVE JUST DONE MY 1ST 100 MILER,IT TOOK ME ABOUT 11hrs WITH STOPS I AM 50 YEARS OLD
OLD. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO DO YOUR 1ST 100 MILER

Hellooooo With stops you are proberly on parr with the rest of us and we all love our cake/cafe stops !

My first (and only) 100 took me 9 1/2 hours including stops, although I suppose I could also argue it took me 44 years!

CHAZ - THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT - MOST OF US ARE NOT DEAF!

I took about 10 years and 6.5 hours to do my first century ride. 10 years to get round to it, and 6.5 hours to ride it! In my opinion, riding one within 6 months of starting is pretty rapid progress!
