It has been a bad year for cycling for me.
I hardily cycled due to one thing or another, I have just completed a milstone 1000 miles, which is not a lot compared with a lot of you guys and girls. I hope to do better next yr

10ton is still more than most folk though.

1000 miles is a lot more than most folk and if you're still feeling down you can console yourself with probably being a lot faster than me .

You're probably faster than me, too. And I've only managed 500 miles, starting in mid-June.
So you can be cheerful that at least you've beaten one person (me? I don't care if I am bottom of the pile; I've enjoyed it and I'll do more next year  )

There's a new year coming up. On New Year's Eve, reset your computer and install a new battery. On new Year's Day, go for a ride, however brief.

There. You have a new start and a new goal. If you want an incentive, join a program like CKAP.

1,000 miles is nothing to be ashamed of. We all have years when something gets in the way. As long as you are still healthy and ready to start something new.

Cheers,
CKAP #1297

Well done, I broke the 1000 a few months ago and know how great it feels. I had my computer on my desk at work all day and just kept looking at it and smiling.

Set myself a target of 1500 next year....
