105 11 speed crankset

Is there any reason why my 11 speed 105 crankset wont work with a sram groupset

i have sram rear and front derrauilers and shifters........but i was hoping to just use the 105 crankset ( compact)
which would give me a low gear of 34/36 for when in snowdonia in may

crankset 50/34
cassette 11/36

me cause im shoot at climbing and weigh 17stone and i want to enjoy snowdonia and not cry at the thought of huge climbs

A Shimano crank will work with a Sram groupset as per your post.

Chainsets are generic, otherwise TA and Stronglight would be out of business.

I have run a Campag chainset with Shimano mechs. Worked fine.

Was just making sure as i didnt wamt to fork out on a new chainset
