105 shifter v rear mech compatability

It's the former, brake cable runs under bar tape(well it would if fitted ), but the gear cable comes out of the side, ordered a Tiagra from Wiggle, but it was before faster posted 5700 was not compatable Arrived today, so that'll be returned & I'll order a 5600.
No great rush as I've set the winter bike up on the turbo for now, unlikely to be venturing out any time soon with work & weather as it is at the mo

RD-4601-SS (30T)
RD-4601-GS (30T) TRIPLE
RD-4601-GS (32T) DOUBLE
