11 speed cassette on 10 speed bike

Current wheels have 11 speed Ultegra cassette. Looking at another bike which is 10 speed with no wheels. What would happen if I put my 11 speed cassette wheels on the 10 speed bike?

I would imagine that you would have to replace the 11 speed cassette with a 10 speed one. You should be able to get a spacer to allow this.

I wouldn’t think an 11 speed cassette could cope with 10 speed spacing.

So long as you stick a 10-speed cassette on there too and they're compatible makers - i.e. Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo, you'll be fine. If you just swap the wheels and leave the 11-speed cassette, you'll be able to set it up as an expensive singlespeed, but don't try changing gear - it'll be hit and miss and jumpy as the sprockets are spaced differently.

Unless you changed your shifters and rear derailleur to 11sp an 11sp cassette on its own would just be an expensive un-synchronised waste. Just put a spacer on your wheels (make them 10sp) so its all synchronised.
