I was sitting listening to my mate telling me that he only had another 4017 days to go until he retired from the Police.
Today he finally got to day zero, and we have just been out for a small celebration after he skived off work at lunch time. Excellent; I won't have to listen to the countdown any more!
(Doesn't officially retire for another 2 months but has saved up holidays and time off; so today was his last working day).

866 working days left for me.
