I think my 97 starlet has 33,000 miles on the clock (it'd done 6,000 when I got it), since November 2005 (when I started keeping records) I've done just under 36,000 miles on my bikes.
What's the significance of
58008?

My pug 406 here in France has just rolled over the 300000 km number, cars in France do lots of miles! In the uk 70k is high milage!

When you say 70K is high milage in the UK, Was it 1973 and the Ford Escort was the most popular car, when you were last here , either that or you have been watching "life on Mars" and thinking its a new police/detective show on TV
The confusion is miles and kilometers , we are all working in different measurements. My pug 406 here in France has just rolled over the 300000 km number, cars in France do lots of miles! In the uk 70k is high milage!

If my odometer ever gets to 122667, I'm going to reset the trip meter so that by the time the odometer reads 123456, the trip meter reads 789.0.
