I'd wondered about your user name too, but I put it down to a fondness for Tiger Rolls. Or Frosties.

you people really should watch the saw films if you want to see people in desperate situations. same sort of thing but filmed for gore not "art"

search for "saw 6 part 1" on you tube. it goes along the "arm cutting theme" BUT i warn you its stomach churning.

dont watch it if you dont like this sort of thing, this one even freaked me out when i first saw it :becool:

Silly accident at work after you take a short cut and don't get away with it.
But I was lucky as it could have been a lot worse.

Ps, my nickname is Tigerbiten because I'm Tiger bitten ...........

Luck .............
I remember that incident - very scary!

Blimey, I faint at the drop of a hat. No way would I even remain conscious, let alone be joking with paramedics if something like that happened to me. I'd probably die of shock before they even arrived!

I can see why you are going to give 127 hours a miss though... ;)

Somebody I know went to see the film the other night and they recommended it. They said 'the scene' wasn't as gory as it might have been.

PS You've lost a 't' in your forum name. Did the tiger get it?

I watched it last night. I thought it was really good, most new films are sh1t, but this is well worth watching. I thought that I would get bored but I didn't. Then again I like Danny Boyle films, 28 Days Later and Trainspotting being my favourites.

Just got back from the flicks, and watched 127 Hours.

I will not say anything other than WATCH IT.

Best night out in a while. Made me jump/cringe/wince/laugh/smile/gasp in horror.

What more do you need in a film?

Excellent cinematography from Mr Boyle (as ever) and is a film all 'outdoorsy' people will enjoy.

Just back from watching it too and enjoyed it. Occasionally harrowing. It's not every day that you watch someone strum the nerve inside their own arm... But moving as well - the "oops" moment, for some reason, got to me. As did the eventual rescue.

Read a piece on the film that said with Danny Boyle directing it, the story was in good hands ;) In Metro, I think

I went to see it this evening. I'd agree that it is a pretty good film, and strangely uplifting. I decided not to watch the gory bit too closely though, and even the sounds were getting to me!
