I pass through falkirk when I'm working in Edinburgh next time I'm there I'm going to cycle back home. Is there anywhere in Falkirk you would suggest passing through??
Oh theres lots of lovely routes! The canal paths aren't too bad but not on really skinny tyres!
The canal path from the Falkirk Wheel down to the Kelpies is lovely and they are worth a look
Give me a shout and if I'm free I'll meet up with you and guide you round (as long as you don't ride over 10 mph lol)

Coming up ten years for my ma.

My favourite quote on the subject of bereavement came from the novel Snow Falling on Cedars - which I read a few months after she died. A character is asked how she got over the death of her husband, to which she replied; '' You never get over it, you just learn to live with it.''

So true.
And living with it, well, some days are better than others.
But I know my mum, and I know she would have hated me to to be miserable!
She was a wonderful lady who worked hard for her family and in her spare time went line dancing, ballroom dancing, walking, did dressmaking and crafts. And all with a smile.
Such a talented woman!

The good think about having a cyclocross can take on off road stuff too which is excellent. I will let you know next time I am over that way and hopefully manage to meet up for a nice social cycle.

I think that it is important to remember, in whatever y you find appropriate

My father taught me a lot about values and I often take a step back and think how he would have dealt with it
