New here. Sorry if this should have been posted somewhere else.

Found this Celtonia 3 speed I’m in love with. Tried to dig up some info on it but not much is out there. Wonder if anyone here knows a bit on it. I know it’s Birmingham made and I think a division of Phillips (?) Dated the Stormy archer hub to 1955. Really wondering if I should be whipping around the streets on it or is it special or rare/ collectable? Maybe I should be extra gentle even though it’s Built like a tank...thanks

Whip it around the streets as much as you want, it’ll put a huge smile on your face and yes they are built like tanks and weigh about the same but they great fun enjoy

Thanks! Shifts solid & every thing. Just need a little work in the front wheel. It’s great!

Not familiar with these, but any well sorted 3-speed roadster, even a low-end one, can still be great fun to ride. They've been around for so long now, and the geometry has long since settled down to a standard formula plus or minus a degree, that it's actually pretty difficult to make one that rides badly. I sometimes ride a ratty, rusty Puch gas pipe 3-speed in preference to a nice 531 bike because there is something "just right" about the way it rides. But then I am a bit weird!

Thank you!
I think most of us on here would recommend a "rustoration";
