at mo mine does not have a brooks on it cant decide what to fit at moThere can't be many thirty-odd year old bikes in that sort of original condition. Mind you, rubbish saddle!! I expect yours, like every other bike you have, at least has a nice Brookes on it!

Thank you all for your replies! My frame is different to the one in the brochure; it has fluted seat stays, Vitus forged dropouts, and the brake cable runs across the top... very similar to this one: http://lovelybike.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/rapide-transit.html ... I guess there were all kinds of deviations from the brochure spec in 1981...
