A mate has offered me a set of period wheels for it, and i reckon I've got enough parts in the garage to make a whole bike. Watch this space!

The Marins from that era are just lovely riding machines, I would quite happily have more than the 2 I currently have.

I have always wanted to slap a set of drops on one and have some fun but never got round to it yet

Enjoy it @mickle

My 1994 Marin Stinson is the best ride I have. The newer bikes may have disc brakes and more gears, but none ride as nicely as the Marin.

I put drops on it a few years ago, which worked fine, but the current set up is the best; 3x9 with bar end shifters, 35mm tyres, swept back bars.

I had a '93 Eldridge Grade some years ago. It was my first mountain bike and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for day to day riding, not just off-road. Would make a marvellous alternative to a modern gravel bike.

I liked MTBs made just before front suspension became standard. The Zolatone/fluo Marins were the iconic ones. Never ridden one, but I have a couple of Joe Murray-era Konas, which are superb.
