1st proper ride out today

We went for a good 9 mile round trip average 12mph .I was able to keep up with Pete which surprised me and him I think.This bike is so comfortable to ride,don't know why I was scared of a road bike.The only part I struggled on was the hill over the motorway,I was a bit puffy panty lol but the more I'm on It the fitter I'll get hopefully. The main thing is I enjoyed it and my knee isn't hurting .

sorry to be a spoil sport but the maths don't add up. 9 miles in 30 minutes is faster than 9 miles at average 12 mph.

It was definitely 9 miles, my timing may be out as we stopped halfway for a while and I estimated how long we were actually riding......Strava said it was 12mph average, and as its only the free version we cant really get a true figure, I estimated it around 30 mins, anyway if its wet, windy or wintery...........we don't stay in

Today we set out to do an 18 mile route but ended up only doing the 15 mile route, she did it with ease and with some pretty hefty wind in our faces most of the way, didn't bother with Strava today as we are not out to set any records, just get her comfy on a bike again.........and it seems to be working, another good ride
