If you go to forum stats, bottom right on the home page it's 2,999,360 or something like that. Must be some system hiccup, how disappointing to have missed it

I dont know what numbers you are reading but the counter at the bottom of the home page I can see says 2,999,352,

The forum stats take into account deleted posts and doesn't count them.

The post count on links ie;quote post, doesn't as it is an automated number when the post it made just increasing to numberofposts +1.
