Itching to get back on my bike's
- Location
- Northamptonshire
1st up is A Raleigh Clubman Frame looks to be frame no 481478P and a 21 3/4"sized frame , outline of decals are showing so no argument on what it is Reynolds sticker still present , rear triangle looks to have been hand painted at some point rest of paint is very poor .
Bottom bracket cups are present and are loose in frame so not seized and the cottered shaft is included as well , no other parts included . Sorry no head badge . SOLD
2nd is a what i presume to be a similar aged Coventry Eagle not sure what model but again Reynolds 531 , all decals including selling shop intact as is original paintwork that looks like it just needs a gentle polish to be bright and sparkly again in its attractive maroon colour , chrome fork top still there as is gear idle wheel and fr cable clamp and a fr caliper , have not tried to undo bottom bracket cups or headset nuts .
This is 20 1/2" frame and would make an easy restoration. Have not found a frame number yet but then not looked to hard , as i got distracted by the fantastic rear stays !!!
Both i presume would have been 26" wheeled bikes and if they dont sell you might see me riding them next year , no idea of value at all on these great original finds . If the larger Clubman frame had been in the condition of the Coventry Eagle it wouldnt be for sale .
Going to say offers around the £50 each mark and if anybody thinks i am miles away shout please .
Can be collected from nn8 postcode or could be posted out to a uk address for an extra £15
