2000KM and Soaked

2000KM reached by cycle commuting so far in 2008 on Wednesday there. Same day the tour riders reached that distance for 11 days of racing!

But I'm well on course for exceeding last year's total of 2500km, which was my aim for this year.

More importantly though, still loving every minute of it. Even yesterday which was by far the wettest commute both to and from work for me this year. Soaked through!

How's everyone else (who's counting) doing?

Just over 2000 miles since February, still loving it and came through some pretty cold weather at the start of the year. Only downside is my weekend MTBing has suffered as i now save my legs for the coming Monday.

tad under 3,000 miles, never been as fast or fit, loving it too, Dun Run tomorrow plus a weekend trip to Condor will make it 240 miles in the last seven days

On one bike I passed the 1000 miles this week... just as I passed the bike shop where I bought it, and the other about 670 ... aiming for 3000 miles by the end of the year.

Lost a couple of pounds and now really want to loose a couple more to be the lighter than I've been since I had kids 13 years ago.

Well done Tete, I'm 4k short of the 2000km; I'm just under 1/2 way to last years total (4,560km).

You're right about this morning; I think its been my wettest commute of the year too

think i`ve done just shy of 1500 miles since start of year, not bad for a lard ass like me, although I`m getting pangs to go and get my proper racer fully kitted out with new groupset as i reckon I would be flying after all the mileage on my fixed.

about 8000km for me well we can take 20Km off that as I walked/jogged that last night with a tyre faliure - sidewall split!!
