A 2009 Brompton M3L 3 speed folding bike in orange with black forks and rear triangle. As you can see in the photos it is in exceptional and unmodified, original condition.
This has just come out of long term dry storage and is exactly as it left the factory in 2009, even retaining its original Brompton branded tyres, it’s had very limited use and looks like a 2 year old bike, there is no corrosion, and very little wear and tear. However there are some very minor cosmetic marks/paint chips/cable rub, some of which have been touched up.
I have just given it a deep clean, attended to some small jobs, adjusted and lubricated where necessary so it is now ready to ride, the original tyres will probably need replacing just because of the age of them.
It comes with the extended seat post (about 6 cm longer than standard) so will fit a taller rider (the standard seat post fits riders up to around 5’10”) however it’s a very easy job to swap it for a standard length post if required.
Since the photos were taken the rear reflector has been replaced and a Brompton luggage block is now fitted
