some of these are amazing. Powerful stuff indeed some of them. The Somalian stoning is not a pretty sight though. Medieval stuff indeed.

The ones from 2008 were brilliant (and disturbing some of them) - 2009 keeps up the standard.

As a matter of fact, I've only just got round to looking at them, and thought they were very good. Perhaps people are just busy? (they did take a while to load...)

I liked the baseball one, and the French jet display team, and the old chap in Pakistan who looked liked he'd just walked straight out of the Old Testament, but they were nearly all good.

Maybe it's a bit of crying wolf. You post so many threads, the best one gets drowned....

Amazing and inspiring photos . Makes me want to dust off the old SLR and get out snapping.
The boys face running from the bull in Pamplona is priceless

Wonderful pictures that really do capture 1,000's of words.

Interesting mix of news and 'arty' shots, many of the latter very beatiful.

Shame so many of the news ones are about wars and killing...but sadly that is probably a reflection of the amount of violence that goes on around the world.

I saw these a few days ago. Amazing.....

Part 3 wasn't available then, just about to check them out.....

I agree with addictfreak (I'm a cultural wasteland me, so don't worry Greedo  )
some beautiful photos
Funnily enough, yesterday I received a Powerpoint of Chinese military in training for their drill - as per photo 32 in the first section. (PM me an email addy if anyone wants it)

Poor old Barack - gave so many hope and yet quickly submerged by the lobbying groups in Washington and batted by the Senate. The crying lady will perhaps still be hungry...not featuring again until the corporate funding pumps an election upwards the next time around...58% +/- will spend at least a year below the 'poverty line' I wish him and the reforms well.
