Race days is one factor we can think about, the number of days between Pog's first and last win of the season is another. The latter is very impressive

He does have pretty big breaks from racing though. This season he didn't race at all in May and August.

Tom Pidcock seems to have a busy weekend lined up, he appears to be down for both Lombardia on Saturday and the world gravel champs in Limburg on Sunday

He can probably justifiably climb off as soon as Pog attacks and be at the airport for 3.

Del Torro has another chance for an Italian win in the Gran Piemonte today.
I saw Matt Stephens in Acqui Terme on Instagram, so hopefully no Jose Been on D+

I haven't checked historically, but I saw that Pogacar and Almeida are comfortably at the top of the "most wins this season" chart. It must be rare for a sprinter not to be topping that chart.

I'll have a glass of what he's drinking please: I'm sure it's Derek Toro who's 2nd on the list (tied with, sprinter, Merlier).
The stand out stat for me is there's only one rider to take double figures of 2nd places: Vingegaard on 14.
