Blimey, that was a surprise win. Arensman looked like he was pedalling under water at times but held them off somehow.
Will his legs hold up tomorrow - hoping for an attacking stage

Great ride by Arensman....bit like myself takes an age to warm up....There's a GC rider in there somewhere....just need to turn his dial from one week to three !

Larry Warbasse was saying on a pod that Storer was very strong in training.
Looks to have every move covered on these slopes
Listened to Larry singing his praises...looking good at 33/1 for the Giro podium chance.
I might have to just give him a few pointers on his TT😁

There was tv coverage, so hopefully it will turn up on Tiz, later.
I'll give it a miss.... don't think I can bear to see Soler lose in a sprint.

Was it Arensman's father who had a dig at Ineos training methods re his son last year?
In his post-race interview yesterday he said...
... Now, over the years, the team let me do my thing and improve year by year, and they have confidence in me and they have trust in me, and it's super nice to pay them back with this win.

It was indeed. Well remembered.

The rubbish coverage continues. Today, the go live just after the uncategorised 4km at 10% climb has been completed.
So, two tough but short climbs remain, along with 40kms of downhill.
