Almeida wins if he stays on his bike, I can't see either Martinez of Fortunato being within 10 seconds of him in the TT, It's just can Vine find the time he needs to podium and at 1:38 down on Almeida I don't think that even Evenepoel can make that time up.

Pretty likely. I'm interested in how Lenny does though

Chapeau Lenny...strongest there today, good battle between him and Almeida to the finish !
Remco...rest up mate it's a long season 😁

Great sprint from Lenny. Almeida is good at those long climbs though & wonder if he could've won had he attacked earlier. It became a bit of track sprint situation in the last 1km.

There's no doubt that Lenny can win a Grand Tour stage, it's only a matter of time given his performance on this stage.

I was wondering if he was just trying to not put to much time into Vine going into todays TT, at 32 seconds I think there is still a chance he could get on the podium.

????
Almeida's time gap is irrelevant to Vine going on the podium. Unless Almeida is to finish 4th.

Should/could be a 1,2 for Almeida and Vine...stage win for Remco but heavy rain forecast.
Fingers crossed for some drama but no accidents.

A TTT in the Vuelta is always something special. Have they put it on a beach so the UCI have to cancel it (make it only for team standings), or will it end in darkness so the riders can't see where they're going?

Matteo Malucelli wins the final stage of Tour of Turkey....making this Astanas fourth stage win here.
Wout Poels takes the overall GC.

Certainly doing something right this year.

One-two on the GC as well, which is worth over 4 times the UCI points as the 4 stage wins.
They also had three stage 2nd places, so all in all a decent race, earning just over the UCI points that Simone Velasco won for them with his 4th place in Liege-Bastogne-Liege

Inexplicably, this appears to be a bog standard short TTT (ten minutes), held on wide roads with good surface and visibility and not even the faintest hint of a bear-trap, crevasse or water hazard. It's as if the Vuelta just can't be bothered with the women.
