I watched a bit of stage one of the women's Tour de Suisse. A bit of a weird day. Reusser and Vollering got away as a pair. Followed by Kasia N in a group of 3, and then a peloton with plenty of riders seemingly happy with that tootling along behind. I didn't see the bit where the front 2 got away and how. So now Reusser and Vollering have over a minute on everyone else.

The Tour de Suisse warm-up race, "The Big Prize of Aargau", is this afternoon, with many of the TdS starters using this as a leg-stretching opportunity. Not all teams are taking part, so the Swiss National team is fielding a stacked lineup:

Michael Matthews has been withdrawn from this race, the TdS, and also the TdF due to medical reasons.

The Giro Next Gen starting tomorrow, hopefully an interesting battle between Widar and Withen

Quite a stacked field I believe. Noah Hobbs and Jørgen Nordhagen also riding

Ben Wiggins is there as well, but not as a leader. I'll also be keeping an eye out for Peter Øxenberg and Theodor Storm, who who are Ineos riders that currently ride for Lotto Kern-Haus PSD Bank (CT), the dev team Ineos partner with

Reusser dominating the final stage of the TdS. Looks like she could be a threat to Vollering at the TDFF.
