Quite a stacked field I believe. Noah Hobbs and Jørgen Nordhagen also riding

Ben Wiggins is there as well, but not as a leader. I'll also be keeping an eye out for Peter Øxenberg and Theodor Storm, who who are Ineos riders that currently ride for Lotto Kern-Haus PSD Bank (CT), the dev team Ineos partner with

Storm isn't riding this race.

A brilliant ride on stage 2 from Jonathan Vervenne of the Soudal QS dev team, going solo from a long way out and defying a spirited chase from the peloton, sees him move into pink.

Decent coverage with commentary in English from Jez Cox is available on French Eurosport 360. GC day today with a mountaintop finish.

Widar takes S3 of the Giro Next Gen. He and Finn broke away from a small GC group with about 3 km to go. Widar sprinted away from Finn in the final 500 metres to take a fairly comfortable win. Withen Philipsen and Nordhagen finished 7th and 8th 36 seconds down. Good ride from Callum Thornley to finish 10th. I had always thought of him as a sprinter.

Not a deep field but a win over Ganna in a TT by Ethan Hayter is not to be sniffed at in Belgium

New women’s race yesterday, the Copenhagen Sprint. Quite fun to watch with the inevitable Wiebes win! I think the men are on today.

It is indeed the men's race today. Just a ten minute leisurely bike ride from my home and I can't be arsed to go and see it because it's too bloody hot.
