Different racing - TT very different from a single day road race. and it's at the end of a very busy season for Pog. The road race would have to have some decisive climbs in it, and big enough. Pog did well in the early season classics.

But, the Worlds RR is very different, so not expecting him to get it. He still finished fourth though. Remco probably won't be up there on the road race either.

I get the whole thing about smaller nations just being pleased to be there, but the 2 riders from South Sudan rode it at mid 20s kph.

I think I could do it at that speed if I had a good night's sleep and a bowl of pasta in the morning!
