Or bizarre coverage? There's people who are still very much in the race who were being either talked down or not in the picture like Jorgensen, who's in the box seat at the moment. Johannessen's sponsors can maybe feel a little under fuelled too.
Luke Tuckwell only has to follow wheels to win.
So much racing on today. It feels slightly unfair calling the Copenhagen race that’s over 220km long a ‘sprint’. If anyone has been missing Carlton that’s where to find him.
Well, it's guaranteed to end in a sprint at any rate. And every sprinter except Magnier and Milan will be there (Milan just pulled out with illness).
Might be a damp and soggy 220km though, the weather gods aren't exactly shining on us at the moment, some of the rain showers have been torrential
Forecast is actually looking drier than yesterdays predictions, so maybe not wet in the finish circuit
Looks very British.
Giro Next Gen begins today with a pretty decent start list. I'm particularly excited to see Lorenzo Finn up against Matisse Van Kerckhove. Ineos' Cameron Rogers (nephew of former Sky rider Mick) seems to be highly rated but I know little about him. Other riders with cycling kin include Finlay Tarling, Adam Rafferty, Ben Wiggins and Baptiste Gregoire. I'll also be keeping an eye out for Jan Michal Jackowiak (youngest rider in the race who looks very talented), Seth Dunwoody (a stage winner last year) and Seb Grindley who impressed at the 2024 junior worlds but hasn't really kicked on since.
RAI and HBO Max are amongst the TV channels who have rights but TV coverage can be unreliable. Fortunately, it is being livestreamed here:

No it isn't. I'm an idiot. That links to a stream of the 2024 edition
