I'm really looking forward to seeing rallying in the mainstream again.
My era was the Group B replaced by Group A 'for safety reasons' whilst I was still stood in a forest whilst Pentti Airikkala passed me at 126mph in a Lancer Evo.
There's clearly lots they're able to do with the tech to mix in car footage with virtual race to make a compelling highlights package, but most of all I'm hoping that the driver's personalities are able to shine through. I do worry that we'll end up with the glibness of an F1 or MotoGP post race interview where they're trained to recite as many sponsors' names as possible rather than Juha or Colin saying 'f'kin 'ell Tony that was wild' as they have a camera thrust in their faces at the stage end.
