Yorkshireman though isn’t he? Never happy even when he’s happy.

A Yorkshire man who doesn’t drink, it’s the only way to survive up ere.

Grim update on Caroline Anderson who was so badly hurt in the crash last Saturday.

Caroline Andersson lay motionless on the asphalt following Saturday’s violent crash at the World Cycling Championships.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that the 25-year-old had suffered four minor brain hemorrhages.
Her father, Michael "Roddarn" Andersson, witnessed the harrowing scenes firsthand in Montreal.
"I don't know the right words for it, but naturally, there have been thoughts of the worst-case scenario," he told SVT Sport.
One collarbone shattered into four pieces, a pelvic fracture and hemorrhage, two facial fractures, a severe back laceration, and an extremely severe concussion.
That is the toll of Caroline Andersson’s violent crash at the World Cycling Championships last Saturday.
OMG. Thanks for this.

The coverage I heard after the race mentioned nothing this serious - more like several women were pretty battered, some fractures, but all "basically OK" IYKWIM.

Fingers crossed :-/ EDIT: just found this update (published "18h ago"), which sounds like she's on the mend: https://www.cyclingweekly.com/racin...ries-from-horror-crash-at-world-championships
