Which one? He must have worn a fair few out.
The sable fur-lined one was most effective but they're very expensive these days. Beaver is the cheaper option.

User tip
a) lube
b) grab 'em by the handles
Andy's Mum seems to be heading for a lot of 'market research' I see! Sable fur sounds deluxe...but a tendency to get the brush-off. I named mine Natasha - after that BBC presenter Natasha Kolinsky, or whatever her name was.
Squirrel fur has an affinity if one is a little nuts, and the other one needs a badger courage. Time is the safest option - every second cuonts.
Maybe a combination is called for: a 'wrichwatch'!

on a more serious note how about a good quality pocket tool or pen knife with an engraving.

I got 4 engraved tankards for my 21st, what a load of crap, I never use them or look at them, a good quality leatherman or victorinox tool would have been much better.

There must be a beaver and tool joke in there somehwere.

threevesselsmcginty got a set of those for his 21st. All the engraving was worn away by the time he was 22.
