One "hairdresser" I attended said very pointedly that it looked as if I had been at a barber for my previous haircut.

I saw a pub called the travellers rest

On the front door was a hand written sign that said "No Travellers"

Obviously the landlord was having trouble with Gypsies....but funny all the same.
