howdy, I've been semi pressed in as a fourth in a four man team to do a 24 hour ride around a circuit in Kent somewhere
I'm perfectly happy with the time but team captain is rather ken to smash the standing record for the over 40s of an average of 18mph
the more I think about it the better that standard sounds to me, it's all flat for 18mph average for that sort of distance is good work isn't it?
six hours at 18mph is umm ... nigh on 100 miles at 18mph, granted only one hour in four riding
or is that a piece of piss to be laughed at, I like a blast into work on the commute but not sure about keeping up a decnt speed for that long
