Can anybody recommend me a low cost set?

The wheels are for 12/24hr enduros and i'm a wheels on the ground rider, although the front takes a beating as i'm running the bike rigid.

My present wheels stop spinning after just 2 revolutions and weigh a ton. I can't help feeling I'd do a little better if my wheels span freely.

define cheap - on one do some nice cheap an durable ones - but at a weight

Bontrager do good weight ones at a bargain price for the quality

although id be inclined to get my hubs serviced and check the brakes aint rubbing if your wheels only rotating twice !

+1

I can't see that any wheel that's properly set up is going to stop spinning after two revolutions. In fact, I would have thought that a heavier rim / tyre would have a propensity to spin for longer if anything. My wheels and tyres aren't the lightest but even after a gentle spin they continue for at least four revs.

The cones are badly pitted and the seals are anything but anti-friction.

I've seen the on-one wheels but I think I'd prefer a 6-bolt hub rather than a shimano center lock.
