2nd hand bike, what to do?

Hi,
I recently bought a second hand bike Bianchi without wheels and seatpost. It is in general average condition. I have new wheels and seatpost, but before I put them on should there be anyhting that I should do. I will generally clean the bike, chain and lube, chainset etc. But is there anyhting else I should check and/or lube? If it makes any difference the shifters and chainset are Ultegra, the brakes and derailleurs are 105.

Assuming it came without a cassette and you're putting a new one on, it's probably worth putting a new chain on.

If you do need a new chain be sure to buy a KMC X chain.
