Usually it'd be circa 14.
A month or so, the wifes face suddenly dropped and she said....
'Its just occured to me, we can't get everyone in this year, we sold our big patio table in the spring'
It didnt occur to us we brought it in every Xmas.
Now its going to be 9...and two of us are going to be sitting in the sofa with plates on a tray. Hardly ideal but better that than nothing. Gonna miss the grandaughters at the table though...their dad and mum made alternative arrangements when we realised

well it went well we nearly only had 5 but in the end 7 and a little one it was

We've had a funny Christmas Day.

OH on nights and son always goes to his dad's late afternoon, so this year we've had Christmas brunch as opposed to lunch. Me, son, OH, my mum and two dogs.

Was quite a nice change. Tomorrow we do it all over again with the OH's family.
