3 days in Dublin next week - what to do?

Terra Madre! I knew it would come to me. Only about three things on the menu, but they will all be delicious.

The wide menu at Terra Madre Cafe means that there are ample options for plenty of different occasions
The menu is limited but the food is very well prepared and presented. Portions are certainly not over sized and the starters are expensive.
My main of nochi was one of the best I have tasted, however my fellow diners' pastas seemed dry.
Best steak in Dublin that I've had in a very long time top cut of beef, melted in the mouth , staff very welcoming and polite, five star food and service with very reasonable prices,
The food seems quite expensive for what you get and the nature of this type of food means that you need to order plenty if you're having a 'proper' meal. The patatas bravas were quite poor when it came to the seasoning but as regular chips they were nice.

Chips it is then! Sounds good, and it's nice to know that Diners Pastas (that quaint village next to Dinas Powys) is quite dry. (Yes, slow day. Have a lovely time, Rich.)

Isn't every day a slow day?? :hello:

I suppose it is if you're a Civil Servant saving the country. I expect you have spent all morning practising putting the clock back an hour. Don't forget to reset the nuclear deterrent - wouldn't want someone sneaking a quick missile in, come the wee, small hours.
Off topic, as usual Rich , sorry. I was only Dublin up on my posts.

Hey you'd be surprised at what can happen in that hour. I have to be prepared.

Meh. You gotta take these interweb reviews with a slice of lardo stagionato, which fortunately was what I had as a starter, melted onto bruschetta. Salty herby lard on proper toast - what's not to Iike? The gnocchi with braised rabbit and peppers was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Anywhere. It might not be poncey enough for @rich p, though.

I have billions of relatives in Dublin, so I have a soft spot for it... but the last time I was there was for my favourite uncle's funeral. You could put some flowers on his grave for me

it is a violent city, rife with gun crime, so always be vigilant, and bring plenty of money, you'll need it........

I'd watch out for this fella @rich p...
