I was spurred to make a video on the HQ-2 after reading someones comments on another youtube page about "jesus you dont half tailgait" and "the driver was no where near you"
So I stuck a tape measure on the floor and did a simple test to show how distance is perceived through the elements of the camera itself:
View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvfC7QOFJf0
View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7ExHeNRZ8o
this one shows how close you can get before things go out of focus.
Sorry about my voice - I dont have the charm of Richard Burton or the Attenboroughs I have another video coming up soon but its taking ages to process on youtube
Hope these vids help others to decide on a camera set up, how it performs etc, or provides some logic in those road cycling arguments. I might do one later for the Atc3k on distance and how the lens changes the perception of it..
