Hi and welcome plus survey done ! my only concern would be question 9 it could have done with a maybe instead of the simple yes or no answer which I would have put had that been available,my reason on that is I only use the phone for any emergency which may arrise so it is 99% of the time in a pocket rather than stuck on my already cluttered handle bars !

Tend to agree with this, survey done. However I "might" buy a phone mount but considering most smart phone battery lifes maybe some mount with some sort of reserve power pack hidden away or something. I like many (I think) would prefer to have the phone in the pocket and a separate GPS / Cycle computer on the handle bars, this way the phone still has life should you need to make a call.

I am a complete technophobe and don't have room on my handlebars for non essential items. Forgive my ignorance but are smartphones waterproof in torrential rain?
