Looks like a good idea @wiggydiggy if they're useable.
Personally I've got bike storage at my work in the city centre, but others would find it very helpful.
Cycle storage pods for Leeds city centre
Not bothered about the charge if its reasonable, but very interested in how the bluetooth/app works. Hopefully you can see if a pod has space before you get there. Did some research and I think these are the pods: https://cyclehoop.com/product/bikehangar/

There's many of these dotted around in London but can't tell you how they work or how they are allocated to cyclists.
Being the old fart that i am ,i had similar thoughts.I would be interested to see what an angle grinder would do to it.
Where I worked they opened the ‘bicycle store’ with a grand fanfare, and insisted all workers who cycled use it. In the fortnight I used it, the door was left open twice. End of experiment for me.
Here in Glasgow there are many too, but in residential areas, for people living in flats to store their bikes. There's many of these dotted around in London but can't tell you how they work or how they are allocated to cyclists.
Afaik, we don't have those spaces available to rent on short stay.Glasgow is a flat rate £1 for 24hrs,
The same as in LondonHere in Glasgow there are many too, but in residential areas, for people living in flats to store their bikes
Try this:Here in Glasgow there are many too, but in residential areas, for people living in flats to store their bikes.
You rent a bike space from the council, I hear there's a long waiting list.
The fee is around £70 for a year.

I would love to be able to take my bike to town again, I haven't since the pandemic, as theft is rife.
A pound parking is nothing, really, if the box is secure.
Could you please link to the info?
