32mm to 28mm tubes

I'm changing my tyres from 32 to 28mm.

I'm currently using Conti Tour tubes - range is 32-47mm. Will they be okay for 28mm use or will I have to change.

I was hoping that I might get away with them as I'm oinly going one size down from the minimum.

I think you can probably get away with it - afterall 4mm isn't that much variance, especially to something made of rubber.

Personally I would go for a narrower lighter inner-tube. The last place you need extra weight is on the wheel so you might as well take this opportunity to reduce as much as possible; plus a narrower tube will make it easier to get the tyres on and off.
