4 hours cleaning - excessive?

Cleaned the Secteur today,back wheel off,couple of baby wipes to wipe the frame down,wd40 lookalike sprayed on the cassette,chain wiped and re-lubed.
All done in 15 mins,you watch it pour down Monday now!!
+ fitted my new Altura Daypack/saddle bag just big enough for essentials and lunch so I don't need to wear my bumbag anymore
