Everyone's favourite stylist, Gaudin, is racing and Demarre should be up for the sprints. It would be nice to see Soupe win one for his new kid. And finally, I am still keeping an eye on Songezo Jim, the black South African rider for MTN, with the amazing backstory...

It was a fractured clavicule though the faces he pulls suggests it could well be his testicles...

As a little hour's Vorspeise (it would be appetiser but it's in German) before the 4-days coverage, the bored can watch the Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt race, which I know absolutely nothing about, by going to myiplayer.eu, choosing Germany, HR TV and then agree to P2P sharing. No rush - there's still 90 km to go.

I thought he'd gone too early but he kept well ahead. It was a pretty long sprint in the end.

I got to say, from a few other races I have watched this season, FDJ seem to have really got their act together, looking organized.
