I saw this already somewhere (on CC maybe?) and looked at the blurb on this. He had 10 days off due to a broken back but made up the distance he missed due to this. Sorry, but in my book he is bad ass! Not many could do this and he has raised a phenomenal amount for charity so cut him some slack!

After hearing him on the radio and a little while ago on the TV news, I got the impression he's a really nice man. He said because no one has ever done it before they don't actually know how to do the ''warm down'' so for renormalisation he's off to do a series of half marathons! I suppose it counts as relaxation in his book.

When eddie izzard ran his 27 marathons in 27 days he missed a day and had to make up the miles, no one cared.
as long as the total mileage adds up i dont care how he did it. Amazing

He did an assembly at the SmallestCub's school a few months back, and a group of the kids ran their daily mile with him that day. This was a few weeks after the school's marathon day, when the head and the admin bod and a governor or two ran a marathon up and down a nearby shared use path, with almost every kid in the school, most of the staff and a fair few parents joining them for at least a mile.
He is as mad as a box of frogs and genuinely inspirational.
School had a 401 day today - come in sportswear and make a donation to Ben's charities. So the SmallestCub went for running shoes, jogging bottoms, MTB T-shirt base layer and a cycling jersey and took in a #firstfiver.

I doubt if he really cares about records.
I wonder who bullied him into doing it in the first place. Because surely you wouldnt volunteer.
