Hi people, for anyone interested I have just edited last years bicycle tour to Melton Mowbray from Milton Keynes. It was only a two day bike adventure but still was fun. Visiting Rutland Water was the highlight of the trip, amazing reservoir for cycling around!

Nice little watch . I live in Leicester so have cycled the roads on the end of video so it was a case of spot the road

Also it brings up one of those protected designated origin things about food - stilton cheese can only be made in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. Since the town of Stilton is in Cambridgeshire, you can't make stilton cheese there.

Stilton was never made in Stilton. Back in seventeen hundred and three cornered hats, Stilton was a staging post on the Great North Road. Only rich people could afford to travel by coach. They wanted fine dinning when they stopped at the coaching Inns, so farmers from all around sold their wears to them, including the local cheese. It became known as Stilton because that's where the knobs brought it.

I go out that way when I cycle to Peterborough to see my grandad, lovely roads and tracks
