Just got this on Craigslist for 50, seems solid I just don’t know what it is. I’m hoping someone can help me find some original photos of the frame and bike when it first came out?? Thanks!

Difficult to say from those pics. We need close ups of the lugs, drop outs and any numbers on the BB.
Whatever it is for fifty noted you can't go wrong.

It has a brazed on kickstand bracket which usually means foreign frame or far east manufacture and imported. Loads of these ended up in catalogues like Grattens BITD. Unless you find a makers decal I'm not sure you will pin a name on it.

I think I can see a kink in the down-tube, which would explain the non-matching fork.
Agreed, doesn't look British.

Could be anything, but looks like a converted multi-gear bike to me. The frame could even be half-decent. It's not modern, because it's lugged and it has a tubular rear brake bridge not a pressed flat steel plate often found on cheap frames. The diameter of the seatpost may also give you an idea if the frame is plain hi-tensile, cro-moly, or mang-moly tubing.
